NATURE:

Most exciting have been the recent sightings of Otters feeding in the garden, next to the stream!

Also there are an abundance of wild birds that visit our bird table, among them are our local Greater-spotted Woodpeckers, manyBlue & Great Tits, Chaffinches, Dunnocks, Robins and even the occasional Yellow Hammer.


Regularly seen flying above the cottage are Buzzards and Ravens. The area is a renowned RSPB breeding site for the Chough , and we are just a few miles away from the RSPB Glaslyn Osprey Project. The Ospreys arrive back from Africa in late March and April, leaving again in August and September. There is a public viewpoint from where the pair can be seen in the Glaslyn Valley

COMMENT:


I just wanted to say, on behalf of all my family members who stayed the weekend, that the we cannot thank you and Steve enough for all your kind help and assistance with the arangements and the details for our stay. The house is an absolute credit to you and we were all thoroughly amazed at the quality of the place, the beauty of the surroundings and the area itself. The weather was fantastic as we stood outside in the garden on Sunday morning and it was a shame to come away. We all said that we will definatley be coming back for another stay.

Jayne and I had a lovely relaxing time at your cottage. We both loved the property, the way you have furnished it and the beautiful setting. We hope to come back and see it in the summer or Autumn.
Not sure how much of the food on the bird table escaped the greedy squirrels.
